The Stiftung Zukunft Gewandhaus zu Leipzig Projekte gGmbH<\/strong> was established in 2023 as a subsidiary company of the Stiftung Zukunft Gewandhaus zu Leipzig.
\nThe limited company supports the Foundation in the realisation of its charitable purposes in the fields of art and culture – in particular music – international and national cultural exchange, musical education for all age groups, as well as the promotion of science and research.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Within this framework, the Projekte gGmbH<\/strong> facilitates the production of radio and televisual broadcasts and supports the Gewandhaus in the worldwide propagation of its brand and its artistic productions beyond the concert hall. To this end, the gGmbH was able to acquire both a DAB+ and an internet radio licence to broadcast Gewandhaus Radio. As a result, the Gewandhaus is the only concert hall in the world to operate its own radio station. It is planned to regularly broadcast live concerts and recordings of the Gewandhausorchester and other Gewandhaus ensembles (chamber music, organ and the Choirs), which will, apart from in the Gewandhaus itself, be available exclusively on Gewandhaus Radio. This classical music station will be characterised by an eminently attractive programme and captivating spoken word contributions from renowned music writers. The Gewandhaus Radio station will be accessible via the radio station’s website (www.gewandhaus.fm), on the Gewandhausorchester website and via all leading radio apps.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
